Daniel Ganev is the CEO of Karoll Capital Management and Portfolio Manager of Advance Invest Mutual Fund. In this capacity he oversees most administrative duties of the firm, manages the fund's day-to-day activities, and serves on several investment committees. His expertise is the Bulgarian stock market and emerging Europe. In 2003 Daniel headed the project on establishing the first domestic equity mutual fund – Advance Invest. Following its launch Daniel became the fund's Portfolio Manager turning it into one of the best performing investment vehicles on the market. Before this project, Daniel worked at Karoll as a Capital Markets Analyst.
Prior to joining the firm Mr. Ganev received professional training in the USA at Merrill Lynch, SG Cowen Securities, Sony Electronics, and then served in the army in 2002.
Daniel holds a degree in Business Administration from William Paterson University - USA, and an Investment Consultant license by the Financial Supervision Commission. He is a member of BoD of the Bulgarian Association of Asset Management Companies, and has had publications and presentations at the Bulgarian Boston Finance Club, Harvard Business School, Bulgarian Wall Street Club in New York, US and European financial hubs and universities.
